Google Tasks

I have a confession to make, this is what the monitor at my desk looks like (and let's be honest, the top of my laptop too). I am a writer and I worry that I won't remember the little things I need to.

However, for those of you like me, Google has a solution!

Google Tasks can help you keep track of daily tasks, organize multiple lists, and track important deadlines.

  • Tasks can be found in Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Slides on the right, click Tasks
  • Or download the app to your mobile device. Tasks synchronizes across all of your devices.
    1. Tasks
opens with a Default List - but of course you can create your own.
    2. Click Add a Task to your list - it's that simple.
OR right click a Task and Add a Subtask.
OR drag an email from Gmail to your open Tasks window. The Task is the email subject. Clicking on the link will reopen the email.

    3. Add Details and Due Date and/or Time using the Edit pencil.

       4. Move Tasks around by clicking and dragging through your list.

Take some time to transform this...
